CHICAGO — Whiteford graduate Colin Lake scored 23 points Tuesday to help North Park University to an 88-75 win over Saint Mary’s (MN).
Lake, a 5-foot-7 freshman, has started all 10 games for the Vikings and is averaging 12.6 points per game. The all-time leading scorer in TCC history, Lake is the only North Park player to start all 10 games, leads the team in steals, is shooting 77% from the free throw line and averages 35.5 minutes of action a game. He is second on the team in three-pointers with 16 on the season.
North Park, located in Chicago, is off to an 8-2 start. It already has more wins than it has had in each of the past four seasons.
