Clinton hosts Madison in TCC showdown

The biggest boys game in the TCC tonight has Madison traveling to Clinton in an early season battle that will decide who is in first place in the league.

Clinton enters the game 4-0 in league play while Madison is 4-1 after losing to Summerfield Friday. Morenci, who hosts high-scoring Britton-Deerfield, is 3-1 in the loop.

“We know Madison will be ready,” Ruhl said. “We’ll simply have to continue what we’ve been doing lately to avoid a letdown.”

The league’s top two scorers will be in action with Madison’s 6-7 Prince Benson (21.6 ppg. in league play) going against Ryan Karapas of Clinton, averaging 20.5 points a game in his four TCC contests to date.
