OTTAWA LAKE — Jessia Bubacz has become the second Whiteford volleyball player to sign to play in college.
Bubacz will play college volleyball at Adrian.
“After meeting her and getting to know her, we knew she would work hard at becoming a great setter,” former Whiteford coach Kathy Albers said. “Countless hours of hard work has her signing with a Division 3 school and we are so proud. I look forward watching Jessica and Kaleigh Funchion (Concordia) advance to the next level.”
Bubacz was part of a record volleyball run for the Bobcats, who have won 111 games over the past three seasons, including three straight TCC titles. She recorded 2,950 career assists, including a Bobcat record 1,460 during her junior season, a number that stands fourth in the MHSAA record listings.
