Iott soars to top of TCC scoring list

Whiteford’s Mitch Iott has had back-to-back 30-point games and has moved to the top of the TCC scoring chart with only a handful of league games to play.

Iott, a second-year starter for the Bobcats, has now scored 219 in his 12 league games (18.3 ppg).

Ryan Karapas of Clinton is second with 193 points in 11 games (17.5).

Whiteford has games remaining against Morenci and Summerfield while Clinton plays Sand Creek, Morenci and BD.

Clinton’s Ryon Luzier is fourth with 164 points.

Madison’s Prince Benson scored 166 points in league play before an injury sidelined him for the rest of the season. He carried an 20.8 per-game scoring average at the time of the injury.
