Madison defeats Aggies

Madison eliminated Sand Creek, 43-34, Monday, in the opening round of the Class C girls basketball District at Sand Creek.

Nicole Olden scored 17 points and Kendall Hudson chipped in with 11 – five coming in the final two minutes of the game on free throws. The Aggie defense came into the game determined to shut down Hudson and did so for the most part, but nine points from Rachel Isom and Olden’s big game thwarted the overall plan.

Madison (19-1) advances to the next round of district tournament to play Clinton (11-9).
