Whiteford will play at 12:30 p.m. Friday against Coleman in the Division 4 state softball semifinals.
The Bobcats advanced to the final four by beating defending Division 4 state champion Unionville-Sebewaing, 1-0. Whiteford will be playing in the final four for the eighth time in its history – and first since 1994.
The 32-6 Bobcats tied a school record for victories in a season with today’s win.
Kalamazoo Christian plays Indian River Inland Lakes in the other D4 semifinal.
Monroe County also put Ida and SMCC in the semifinals.
